Onyx

The trade name ‘Onyx’ is used for exclusive limestone or calcareous sinter from freshwater courses. Owing to their banded beauty, they have always been crafted into decorative items and jewellery. The standout feature of onyx is its translucency. It is primarily used for luminous splashback panels. Onyx is very soft and delicate, so the material is not suitable for kitchen counters or similar high-wear applications.
