What is cast stone?
Cast stone is an artificial rock. It combines natural visuals of natural stone with modern manufacturing technology. It consists of real aggregates (such as fine marble or granite granules) that are mixed with cement, water and colour pigments. The result is an extremely homogeneus material with consistent structure and colours which can be worked with precision while having a variety in design.

Application and maintanance advice
Cast stone is a classic material for floors, steps, window sills and wall coverings in the interior. Because the material is bound by cement, the surface is sensitive to acid, grease and oil. Cast stone is thus less fitted for extensively used kitchen countertops. With the right care and light waterproofing the surface can stay protected and pretty for years.
